We are seeking a self-driven team member to handle daily inside sales roles for OSCO Safety. This individual will be responsible for contacting new prospects, communicating with customers and ensuring an efficient sales process. This individual should be highly invested in the growth of the organization and must be goal oriented, self-sufficient and willing to take on new opportunities.

Job qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • Previous experience in sales or customer service
  • Willingness and ability to make outgoing calls to potential or existing clients
  • Professional communication skills (in-person, video calls, phone calls, e-mail, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job duties will include:

  • Executing the Steps of a Sale
    • An individual in Product Sales should be familiar with, understand and be able to execute the steps of a sale
  • Handling Manufacturer-Supplied Leads
    • The ISR should obtain leads supplied by our manufacturer(s) and act as a distributor for their product line(s)
    • The ISR should identify the scope of work and ask the appropriate questions to determine the correct products are offered to clients
  • Identifying the Correct Opportunities
    • The ISR should be able to identify opportunities/projects that are a “good fit” for OSCO Safety
  • Providing Quotations
    • The ISR shall provide e-mail or formal quotations for all viable opportunities and be able to determine when a formal quote is needed
    • The ISR should identify product application, determine usability and select the correct products for an opportunity
  • Following-Up
    • The ISR should follow-up on open quotes, pending orders, etc. in a regular manor to understand and stay current on all opportunities
  • Order Entry
    • The ISR should be able to handle all aspects of order entry within the OSCO software
  • Handling Customer Interactions
    • The ISR should be in communication via phone call, e-mail, etc. with our customers to understand current realities and upcoming influxes or reductions in business
  • Offering Input on OSCO Company Direction
    • The ISR should be able to troubleshoot issues and offer ways for us to improve towards the future
  • Selling
    • The ISR should be able to handle small-scale projects/customers as an account manager
    • The ISR should be able to close on opportunities without direct assistance
  • Fill-in Duties
    • Fill-in for other teammates as required
